I started using STU because I wanted something to listen to while I was cleaning the house. Something that wasn’t music, or the TV. I found this through a friend, and realized I really liked just listening to the stories people shared. It definitely made my space feel less empty.

Last year I had a really nasty divorce. I needed a distraction. Work. Pilates. Wine. I kept saying I was fine, and I’m better now, but the reality was everything fu** sucked and when I stopped moving, I realized I absolutely was not fine. I needed to talk about what I was going through.

I am with the kids all day and as much as I love them, it can be so overwhelming. My husband is great, but he doesn’t always get it, ya know. To be honest, sometimes I get a bit emotional. I know I can talk to my friends, but I don’t want to burden them all the time.
